Women for Conservation

Our main goal is to promote women in conservation and sustainability sciences.

We hope more women are inspired to be leaders in conservation. We believe women and gender diverse individuals have valuable perspectives that are not always acknowledged. Through this project we are hoping to develop our own skills, while empowering others to do the same. 

Women diversify the field and bring a more holistic approach to teamwork and learning. 

Our Goals:

• Educate young women on career options in STEM, environmental science, conservation, and sustainability sciences.
• Build a community of women and gender diverse individuals who are passionate about conservation.
• Create strong personal and professional development skills to support our careers, and empower young women.
• Attend the Advancing Women in Conservation Conference in the fall of 2023 through fundraising initiatives.
